Individual Counseling
You don’t have to keep carrying everything on your own.
Maybe you’ve been holding it together for everyone else while quietly realizing something needs to change for you. Individual counseling gives you dedicated space to understand what’s weighing on you and work toward a life that feels more manageable, connected, and your own.

What you’re going through.
You may look capable from the outside while your thoughts, emotions, relationships, or responsibilities are taking more out of you than anyone realizes.
Perhaps anxiety keeps you on edge, depression has dulled parts of your life, or something from your past still finds its way into the present. You might be grieving, questioning yourself, struggling through a transition, or simply tired of repeating patterns you don’t know how to change.
Whatever brought you here, you don’t need to prove that things are “bad enough” to deserve support.
How individual counseling can help.
Counseling gives you a place to understand not only what you’re feeling, but what may be driving it and what you can begin doing differently. Over time, you can become more aware of your needs, more confident in your choices, and better equipped to handle difficult emotions without feeling consumed by them. The goal isn’t to create a life where nothing hard ever happens, but to help you feel steadier and more capable when it does.
Change may look like setting a boundary, quieting an old fear, reconnecting with yourself, or finally feeling ready for what comes next.
Therapy shaped around you.
We don’t expect every person who walks through our doors to need the same kind of therapy.
Your counselor will take time to understand your history, current circumstances, strengths, concerns, and what you hope will be different, then shape your work together accordingly. Depending on your needs, sessions may draw from approaches such as CBT, EMDR, person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and other therapeutic methods represented across our team.
You’ll have room to talk and process, but we’ll also look for useful insights and practical changes that can make a difference beyond your appointments.

Who is this for?
Individual counseling can be helpful whether you’re facing a clearly defined mental health concern or simply know you haven’t felt like yourself lately. Our counselors work with people across different ages and stages of life who are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, major changes, stress, and more. You may be coming to therapy for the first time, returning after years away, or looking for a counselor who feels like a better fit.
There is no single type of person who belongs in therapy, and you don’t need to know exactly what you need before reaching out.
What to expect in individual counseling.
We’ll begin by getting to know what’s happening now and what you want from counseling, without rushing to fit your experience into a predetermined plan. From there, your sessions can evolve as you gain insight, practice new ways of coping, and discover what creates meaningful change for you.
