For more than 25 years, I’ve helped people make their way through relationship struggles, depression, anxiety, grief, difficult transitions, and experiences from the past that continue to affect the present. I have a particular love for working with couples, whether you’re trying to reconnect, work through conflict, prepare for marriage, or understand why the same painful patterns keep finding their way into your relationship. Whatever brings you to therapy, I’ll take time to understand what matters to you and shape our work around what you actually need.
Who I work with
I work virtually with individuals and couples facing concerns that can affect both personal well-being and the relationships we care about most. You may be struggling with something happening now, carrying unresolved experiences from your family or past, or wanting your relationship to feel closer, healthier, and more connected.

What it’s like to work with me
My approach is client-centered, which means our work begins with understanding you rather than applying the same formula to everyone. With decades of experience, I bring perspective and practical tools to the room while still respecting that you are the expert on your own experiences. I want therapy to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface, find healthier ways to respond, and feel more capable of handling the challenges in front of you. For couples, I create space for both partners to be heard while helping you move beyond recurring conflict toward deeper understanding and connection.
How I can help
I’m certified in Gottman marital therapy, an evidence-based approach focused on strengthening intimacy, resolving conflict, and honoring what matters to each partner. I also use relaxation and visualization exercises and techniques designed to help clients reprocess traumatic experiences when appropriate. Whether we’re working individually or as a couple, the goal is to help you move beyond simply talking about what hurts and toward meaningful changes in how you experience yourself and your relationships.
A little more about me
Couples work has been an especially meaningful part of my career. In addition to counseling, I’ve taught marriage preparation, conducted marriage workshops, and had the opportunity to appear on the Today Show featuring my work with couples.
