Sometimes what you’re dealing with is bigger than one problem or one difficult moment. Mental health concerns, addiction, trauma, and complicated family relationships can overlap in ways that leave everyone involved unsure of what to do next. I work with adults (18+), women, and families to make sense of what’s happening and find a healthier path forward.

Who I work with

My background has allowed me to work with people facing a wide range of behavioral health, addiction, trauma, and family concerns. I also work with families and loved ones who may be deeply affected by someone else’s mental health or substance use challenges and need support of their own.

Areas of Focus

  • Addictions

What it’s like to work with me

Before becoming a counselor, I worked as a licensed nurse, and that experience continues to shape the way I understand people and their needs. I don’t believe one therapeutic approach is right for every person, so I draw from different methods based on what will be most useful for you. My work is trauma-informed, practical, and grounded in the understanding that what you’re experiencing rarely exists in isolation. Most importantly, I want our work to help you feel more capable of facing what comes next.

How I can help

Along with counseling, I bring extensive knowledge of behavioral health resources both locally and nationally. If you or someone you love needs a level of treatment beyond what outpatient counseling can provide, I can help you better understand the options and connect with appropriate resources rather than leaving you to navigate that process alone.
