Michelle Grammer, M.Ed., LPC

My path to becoming a counselor wasn’t exactly a straight line, and I think there’s something meaningful about that. After spending 20 years working with children and families in early childhood education, I realized I wanted to help people in a different way and made the decision to return to school and begin a new chapter. Today, I work with people facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and other challenges that can make it difficult to find a sense of peace in everyday life.

Who I work with

I work with people who may feel weighed down by their emotions, affected by something painful they’ve experienced, or exhausted by the demands of family, work, and everyday responsibilities. You don’t have to wait until life reaches a breaking point to want things to feel healthier and more manageable.

Areas of Focus

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • PTSD
  • Grief & Loss
  • Everyday Stress
  • Emotional Well-Being

What it’s like to work with me

I understand that life rarely follows a perfectly predictable path, and sometimes the direction we thought we were headed changes along the way. In therapy, I want to give you room to understand what you’re experiencing while also helping you develop skills you can actually use when life gets difficult. We’ll focus on what matters most to you and work toward changes that make everyday life feel more manageable. My hope is that our time together helps you feel supported while becoming more confident in your own ability to navigate what comes next.

How I can help

Together, we can identify what is contributing to your distress and develop practical ways to manage difficult thoughts, emotions, experiences, and everyday stress. The goal is not a life without challenges, but a healthier way of moving through them with greater peace, understanding, and confidence.
