Long before I became a therapist, I worked in education and saw firsthand how much a child’s well-being can be affected by what’s happening beyond the classroom. That realization eventually led me from special education into social work, where I’ve had the opportunity to support people through many different seasons and circumstances. Today, I work with children ages 5+ and adults of all ages, and I truly love helping people discover that difficult chapters don’t have to define the rest of their story.

I work with children and adults who may be grieving, carrying difficult experiences from the past, struggling with changes at home, or simply needing somewhere safe to sort through what life has handed them. Whatever brings you in, I’ll meet you where you are rather than expecting you to arrive anywhere else.

What it’s like to work with me
My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered, and creating an environment where you feel welcomed and validated matters deeply to me. I don’t see therapy as something I do to you; we’re working together, at a pace that respects where you are and what you’re ready for. I believe people are capable of meaningful change, even when life has given them plenty of reasons to doubt it. I also recognize that change can require hard work, and I’ll be there to support you through that work.
