I believe you know your life better than anyone else, and my role isn’t to tell you what your life should look like. Instead, I want to work alongside you as you make sense of what’s happening, recognize strengths you may be overlooking, and decide what you’d like to change. Whether you’re facing a major transition or simply feeling uncertain about what comes next, I hope therapy can become a place where you feel understood, encouraged, and more confident in your ability to move forward.
Who I work with
I especially enjoy working with people who find themselves at a crossroads, whether that involves a career decision, a changing family role, parenting challenges, or a season when life simply doesn’t feel as clear as it once did. You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what’s wrong or what you want to do about it; we can begin by understanding where you are and what matters most to you.
Areas of Focus
- Life transitions
- Career concerns

What it’s like to work with me
I approach counseling as a collaborative process, which means we’ll work together rather than following a predetermined path. I’ll offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space to talk openly while also helping you notice connections between your thoughts, choices, behaviors, and the way you’re feeling. My approach is strengths-based and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on practical changes you can carry beyond our sessions. I also believe progress deserves to be noticed, especially when it comes through small steps that may not initially feel significant.
How I can help
Together, we can identify what is within your control, clarify what you want your life to look like, and find manageable ways to begin moving in that direction. My hope is that our work helps you feel more confident making decisions, navigating obstacles, and creating changes that reflect your values rather than simply reacting to whatever life puts in front of you.
A little more about me
I’m currently completing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Merrimack College after earning my bachelor’s degree from Truman State University. As a counseling intern at CalmWaters, I have the opportunity to continue developing as a therapist while providing care under the supervision of Amy Minor, LCPC. I’m drawn to this work because I value the moment when someone begins recognizing their own capacity for change and realizes that moving forward doesn’t always require one enormous leap.
