I believe we all carry a story, and what we’ve lived through has a way of shaping how we think, feel, relate, and respond to what’s happening today. I work with adults experiencing stress, anxiety, and depression, and I especially enjoy helping couples navigate the complicated realities of sharing a life together. My job isn’t to judge your story or tell you how it should have gone, but to understand it and help you decide what happens next.
Who I work with
I work with people who may be struggling internally, feeling disconnected from a partner, or realizing that something in their life or relationships needs to change. I know that talking honestly about these things can feel vulnerable, so earning your trust is an important part of our work together.

What it’s like to work with me
After 20 years as a counselor, I still believe some of the most important things I can offer are honesty, empathy, and a willingness to really listen. I want you to feel comfortable being transparent with me, including about the things that are difficult to say out loud. I’ll work to understand how your experiences have shaped you while also being direct when I believe an honest conversation can help you move forward. Therapy with me is supportive, but it’s also purposeful.
How I can help
We’ll look closely at what’s creating distress, identify what may be keeping you stuck, and develop a plan for meaningful change that can last beyond our sessions. For couples, that means making room for both partners’ needs, expectations, experiences, and perspectives while finding healthier ways to understand and respond to one another. If faith is an important part of your life, I’m also comfortable making room for those conversations in therapy, while always allowing your own beliefs and values to guide that part of our work.
