Sometimes you know exactly what happened but still struggle to explain why it continues to affect you. Other times, you’ve lived with something for so long that putting words to it is difficult in itself. I work with people carrying trauma, anxiety, ADHD, addiction, mood concerns, and the effects of unhealthy or abusive relationships, with the goal of helping you understand what you’ve been through without letting it dictate where you go next.
Who I work with
I often work with people who have experienced trauma, difficult childhoods, major life disruptions, gaslighting, or narcissistic abuse, as well as those navigating ADHD, social anxiety, addiction, and mood concerns. You don’t need to have your experiences neatly organized before coming to therapy; we can begin with whatever feels most present right now.
Areas of Focus

What it’s like to work with me
There is no one-size-fits-all way to heal, and I don’t expect your experiences to fit neatly into a textbook version of recovery. My first priority is creating a space where you can speak openly without feeling judged or pressured to explain yourself perfectly. From there, we’ll work to better understand what you’ve experienced, how it may still be affecting you, and what your mind and body need in order to move forward. I also believe therapy should lead to something tangible, so our conversations will include practical changes you can carry into everyday life.
How I can help
My clinical experience includes working in one of Illinois’ Trauma Recovery Center programs with people experiencing symptoms of PTSD and complex PTSD. In our work together, we can focus on understanding your experiences, supporting your nervous system, and developing practical changes that help you feel safer, steadier, and more in control of how you respond to life.
