If you’re used to keeping things together while your mind is running a mile a minute, you’ll find plenty of understanding in my office. I work with children ages 8+, teens, and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and the patterns that can make everyday life harder than it needs to be. More than anything, I want you to feel comfortable enough to be yourself here, because that’s where meaningful work can begin.
Who I work with
I often work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, frustrated by patterns they can’t seem to change, or simply tired of working so hard to feel okay. Some clients come with a clear idea of what they want help with, while others just know something isn’t working anymore. Either is a perfectly good place to start.

What it’s like to work with me
I’m a client-centered therapist, which means I’m interested in understanding your life rather than trying to fit you into a predetermined version of therapy. I want you to feel heard and validated, but I also want our conversations to translate into something useful once you leave my office. We’ll make sure you understand what we’re working on, why it matters, and how you can begin applying what you learn in your day-to-day life. Depending on what you need, our work may be focused and short-term or become a longer relationship that gives us time to work through deeper patterns.

How I can help
Changing long-standing habits, thought patterns, and coping strategies can take real work, and I don’t expect you to have it figured out overnight. Together, we’ll build practical tools, understanding, and healthier ways of responding so you can feel more capable of handling your life rather than constantly trying to catch up with it.
A little more about me
There’s a good chance I won’t be the only one you meet around the office. My Great Danes, Cookie and Bruno, sometimes join me at CalmWaters and are available to spend time with clients who enjoy having a four-legged presence nearby. Bruno is usually happy to curl up on the couch, while Cookie tends to take a more cautious approach to friendship, although belly rubs and booty scratches can certainly help.
We’re also very mindful that dogs aren’t comforting for everyone, so please let us know about any allergies, anxieties, or preferences. Your comfort always comes first.
